If the calculators do not start this is often due to the fact that the browser’s Java extension (Java plug-in) is not activated. Please check the following settings first.
Windows:
Internet Explorer: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Java
Firefox: Tools - Options - Web Features - Enable Java
Mac OS:
Safari: Preferences - Security - Web Content - Enable Java
Firefox: Preferences - Content - Enable Java
Sometimes there is no Java plug-in at all, which unfortunately is the case with the standard installations of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Downloading the current version from Sun is relatively easy and will certainly pay off!
